Boko Haram insurgents' attempt to attack the
Nigerian troops location in Gulak, Adamawa on Sunday was repelled. The
troops also killed 3 Boko Haram members, while quite number escaped with
gun shot wounds.
Also,a Toyota Hilux, 1 PKM gun, 3 AK-47 rifles, 1 Rocket Propelled Grenade bomb, 1 General Purpose Machine Gun and 1 Rocket Propelled Grenade tube were recovered from the insurgents by gallant troops.
Other recoveries are, 3 Anti Riot Hand Held Grenade, 4 Boxes of 7.62mm X 54mm Ammunitions, 1 Charger, 2 Packets of Artillery Primers ,7 Boxes of 7.62mm Link, 1 GP 340 Hand Held Radio,30 Cleaning Kits and 97 pieces of Zela fuse. One soldier was killed when troops at Gajigana were attacked.
